How to transform a 60s house into a space to share and enjoy (over) the summer holidays.

This is how Marta and Francisco told us about their desire to transform their summer residence, a property with a ground and first floor on the Baix Penedès coast. The ground floor leads directly to the porch and on the first floor, the night zone is composed of four rooms.

The ground floor intervention is based on the creation of a new corridor to facilitate the flow of movement while preserving the original pieces that are oriented to the porch.

In the night zone, we have removed the flat roof to gain the fifth façade. This intervention provides the new rooms with zenithal light and a certain amount of privacy.
